SANTOKH S CHHOKAR

Senior Partner & Founder

Our Senior Partner is Mr Santokh Singh Chhokar. Originally from Punjab in Northern India, the Chhokar family has been based in Southall for more than 5 decades.

Originally a medical and social sciences graduate from the University of London, Santokh Chhokar completed the Law Society’s Post Graduate Diploma in Law in 1991 and the Law Society’s Final Examinations in 1992. After completing his two years training he was admitted as a Solicitor in 1994.

Santokh Chhokar is a long standing member of the Solicitors’ Family Law Association, and the International Bar association. Apart from his responsibilities as the Senior Partner, he specialises in Property, Immigration and Family matters.

Whilst at University Santokh Chhokar was involved in student union activities. He was elected President of the National Union of Asian Students two years in succession.

He has served as Honorary Treasurer and President of the Middlesex Law Society.

Santokh Chhokar takes an active interest and participates in community affairs. He has served as Chairman of the Trustees of the Sikh Missionary Society (UK) and General Secretary of India Association and the Sikh Forum International. Santokh Chhokar has been a Fellow of the Royal Society since 2005. Santokh Chhokar has acted as legal adviser to various charities and as a governor of several schools.

In 2005 he was elected Councillor of the Gerrards Cross Parish Council, and served on the Licensing, Planning and Finance and General Purposes Committees. In 2007 Santokh Chhokar was elected District Councillor for the Gerrards Cross East and Denham South West ward in the South Bucks District. In 2011 Santokh Chhokar was re-elected as District Councillor and for two years he served as Vice Chairman of South Bucks District Council. In 2013 he was elected Chairman and currently he is serving his second term as Chairman of South Bucks District Council.

In 2014 Santokh Chhokar was elected Deputy Chairman of Beaconsfield Constituency Conservative Association.

HARPAL S CHHOKAR

Director

Graduated from East Anglia University in Law and accounting. He completed his professional examinations and qualified with Grant Thornton. In 2010 Harpal joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers working in the Audit section at its London Bridge offices and spend two years seconded to PWC in Los Angeles. Harpal specialises in auditing and company accounts.

MAAZ AHMED

General Manager

Maaz brings 20 years of management experience from various industries including Telecom, Banking, Insurance, E-commerce and Financial services. Maaz is a post-graduate from Manipal University where he received a Master’s in business administration with specialisation in Project management.

Maaz started his career in 2004 with ICICI prudential a joint venture of ICICI Bank Ltd and worked as an insurance consultant. In 2005, he joined Citi Bank as an associate in retail banking division following successive promotions he accomplished managerial level and lead different roles during his 8-year stint at Citi bank across the country, Maaz is also a Citi bank alumnus.

Maaz is Trained and certified AML & Anti-terrorist financing, Global IS training (Be Smart, Be Secure) trained and certified, Fraud Awareness and Risk management.

Creativity, Determination and Leadership are Maaz’s greatest strengths. He Thrives on all kinds of challenges especially those that can grow company, Maaz is also involved in his community development and is associated with UAE Community Development Authority and Dubai Cares a part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Global Initiatives.
